Sunday made up for Friday and Saturday, poor Simon his last day of his holiday which is a laugh as Simon doesn't do holidays as he likes to tinker and with the work shop up and running which to finish it was my aim for his 50th birthday last year his latest project has been our old custom Transit Van which we bought when I was doing the Markets and as Vans go its been a work horse and totally reliable so we thought we should keep it so Simon decided he would do the body repairs which has now turned out to be a mammoth task all the front is done all welded and new wings and sills the back door has had a new bottom welded and he was tackling the back wheel arch inside trying to grind out rotten metal and he grinded through his glove. I was eating a sandwich at the time when he came in so I told him to have a look 1st before showing it me and I would throw my sandwich if need be as blood and a sandwich don't quite go together so at 20 to 3 he went off to the local Hospital and rang to say a 3 hour wait then at 6.30, he rang again to say they weren't sure if he had nicked a tendon at 8.30 pm he finally appears they had poked about that much and the fact that he hadn't eaten since dinner his blood sugar level had dropped big time which made him feel poorly so they had kept him ... So a quick visit home for a bite to eat and off to the main Hospital to see a hand specialist and finally walked through the door at 1.20 am.. We were off again to Hospital at 9 the following morning so both of us were tired and Simon does suffer with having the MS but he fights it most of the time, I had to be at work also at 2 and finished at 10.00 pm and then to be back up for Sunday morning kinda early as had to get things ready and off we toddled to the Potteries Open show
How knackering is showing 4 dogs I don't how people do it and my hips are still sore anyway's not so terrific with the boys as in Murphy and Tag but we did better under the bitch judge as noted on Bea's blog she did really well and confess better than I expected as I haven't had much time for her of late working nearly full time now and my 4 to do and just figured we could get all serious about showing next year and as Sall wasn't looking bad though she manages to keep a bit of floppy booby look after the pup's the rest of her looked good the only down fall is she had actually scraped her middle pad so it was touch and go if she would go sound on the move but it was easier on Dean at home just to have Nell and Tilly to take care of and Sall doesn't mind going to the shows really, well I cheated and put a tiny plaster on the pad and she seemed sound the thing is I felt a bit guilty showing up with Sall and the lovely Wildstaff Jo Black was in her class so she took 2nd to Sall and I'm not sure if I feel comfortable with showing at the moment with doing the 4 it was very stressful and as I am a Dick Head at the best of times I don't how I managed to keep it together ,,,,,,, especially with the new bloody bra I had bought from M & S LOL I had to keep pulling the bugger up to keep it all together LOL I'm sure it would of got a few laughs but the final line up of the ladies was rewarding the two lovely Tusselstaff girlies Ella and Evie, little Bea and Sall so and Alport proud moment
I think I'm going to leave Tag till next year he doesn't like it and though he wasn't bad he wasn't good either he just sinks when you stand him and then pushes his front feet forward and goes down on his pasterns, pisses me off no end as when he out and about he right up on his toes and looks outstanding but you stack him and for a few seconds he looks just right and then it goes all pathetic.....Have the pup's out of Sall and him to look forward to there debut soon and will be showing Nell and Gus's son, Bertie plus Murphy a couple of times plus Bea plus Tilly so have enough to keep me flushing LOL and as for breeding well we will see....And I'm not complaining as its really nice when it all goes smoothly LOL
