Well I hadn't realized I was in demand LOL so here goes with some more garble from my wayward brain
We were really busy with the pup's and just in general day to day running which sometimes seems you are getting no where at a 100 miles an hour, all the pup's went into there new homes accept one little boy waiting to go to Sweden and a lovely boy he is to. I think these puppies were exceptional this time and just to improve is a marvelous thing but when they go beyond your expectations.
But have posted some pics of them in Sall's page plus some update on Sall herself as never really covered her character
Not much happening on the show front Tag got a 2nd in post grad dog in Wales so finally qualified for Crufts but the problem has been he has been lame for weeks been to and throw to the vets with him and was about to go again after several weeks on Rimadyl but think we have turned the corner he has been much better and has been running around big time so hopefully can get back on track on getting him fit, last visit to the vets we weighed him and he was actually 38 lbs if not a tad over but he is fat and I hate a fat Stafford.
We did another champ show and little Bea along with her sister qualified for Crufts and I reckon come next March Bea is going to look wonderful, I also had the pleasure of showing Nell and Gus's (Ch Alport Fire Cracker) son in minor puppy and what a stunner he is again a tad over weight for me but ticks all the right boxes for me but will look forward to getting him out again....And talking of getting out well we have Sall's son from last year who is a stunner and also her daughter if I can work on Keith her owner a bit more and she is absolutely beautiful
We will hopefully will show Tilly late in the year but at 4 months of age presently I'm just ignoring her as she is sprouting in all directions at the moment we learned a long time ago that our pup's dont come full on and look very baby like until 9, 10 months still
So what does the future hold on the breeding front not sure yet as it has to be said Staffords are on every corner and a victim of there own success but on the other hand quality ones are still far and few between so will see how things look at the end of the year
Our web site is going to be huge by the looks of it and is slowly coming together with a bigger effort coming from my better half (Simon) than me as he is doing all the technical stuff with it and I don't call him Mr Perfect for nothing LOL so hopefully in a couple more months folk will be able to see it
None Stafford news is I kicked the dirty smelly habit of smoking but feel a tad bloated on the belly front but am already working on that by stepping up the walking of the dogs and my DVD killer LOL, I struggle a bit on the PC as I now have this trigger finger on both middle fingers but my right one is worse and its the weirdest thing as in the mornings its completely locked and later in the evening it just aches but I am taking the potions Glocosamine and marine thingy which I have to suck as cant swallow it as its bitty YUK Sall and I also take the primrose capsule a day LOL I might go to the Doctors about it but having read on here not much can be done and its all the years of tedious use my Art days at Derby Crown China and Denby Potteries both painting free hand and sponging and fettling LOL sounds a bit kinky plus the horses all that bloody mane and tail pulling and at British rail how much writing did I do there and I remember my fingers aching when I got home......OK boring stuff over and will go and do a bit here and there
We do count
